Job summary

Crossing Hurdles in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to lead our security operations across on-premises and cloud environments. You will drive firewall/IPS configurations, threat monitoring, and a proactive incident response program while mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative setting.

The role requires strong knowledge of security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and cross-functional collaboration to align security with business goals.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in configuring firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Strong experience monitoring and resolving network security issues with advanced tools.
• Experience implementing cloud and endpoint security solutions in multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
• Hands-on incident response experience including investigation and remediation of security events.
• Strong collaboration and mentoring abilities within technical teams.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory compliance; policy development.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly valued.
