A leading technology consultancy is seeking an experienced IT Cloud Network Analyst to enhance their infrastructure team in Belfast. The role focuses on managing and optimizing hybrid network infrastructures with a primary emphasis on Azure and network security. Ideal candidates will possess hands-on experience in Azure networking, network protocols like BGP and OSPF, and familiarity with security frameworks to ensure robust connectivity across cloud and data center environments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support and manage hybrid network infrastructure across Azure and physical data centres.
• Design and implement secure cloud and on-prem network solutions using BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols.
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure networking services: VPNs, Firewalls, Load Balancers, VNETs.

Ocho is hiring exclusively on behalf of our client for an experienced IT Cloud Network Analyst to join a growing infrastructure team in Belfast.

This is a key hybrid role focused on supporting and optimising cloud and on-premise network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Azure networking, routing protocols, and network security. You'll be instrumental in delivering scalable, secure, and highly available services across the firm's cloud and data centre environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and manage hybrid network infrastructure across Azure and physical data centres
• Design and implement secure cloud and on-prem network solutions using BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure networking services: VPNs, Firewalls, Load Balancers, VNETs
• Maintain DNS, DHCP, NTP, Active Directory, and network monitoring tools
• Work with DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure reliable, secure connectivity
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and participate in out-of-hours support rota

Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience in Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity
• Solid understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF) and enterprise routing
• Experience with firewalls, switches, and infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform)
• Windows Server (2016-2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
• Familiarity with security frameworks (CIS, ISO27001)
• ITIL awareness and experience in a regulated or enterprise environment
