Parser Limited is seeking an experienced Data Platform Architect to own the architecture, design, and evolution of enterprise data platforms in a regulated, cloud-first environment. You will lead hands-on technical direction while guiding internal teams and external partners, ensuring compliant, scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes cloud-native AWS architectures, event-driven data models with Kafka, IaC with Terraform, and collaboration with security and governance teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise data platforms and guiding architecture decisions.
• Strong cloud and event-driven architecture expertise with AWS and Kafka.
• Proven ability to govern vendor work and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Experience in regulated industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and evolution of cloud-native data platforms on AWS.
• Define target-state architectures and technical standards.
• Provide governance for external vendors and system integrators.
• Lead architecture decisions balancing performance, cost, and security.
• Collaborate with data engineers to implement scalable pipelines.
