Role Summary

The Cloud Monitoring & Compliance Engineer provides visibility into security and compliance across cloud environments, ensuring configurations and guardrails are maintained. Responsibilities include managing GSOC tools on Windows, Azure, and O365, supporting multi-cloud environments, and collaborating with vendors and teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze requests related to MDC Product alerts (CWP & CSPM).
2. Customize and enhance Cloud Security Posture Management and Cloud Workflow Protection features.
3. Onboard additional tenants and cloud providers.
4. Implement automated remediation activities.
5. Liaise with vendors to optimize product investment and influence roadmaps.
6. Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain toolsets daily.
7. Collaborate with other teams to identify new opportunities.
8. Ensure compliance with internal controls and standards.
9. Use DevOps practices to document tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Solid IT experience with major cloud providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Cloud Security Posture Management (Microsoft MDC, Twistlock, Redlock).
• Experience securing cloud environments, including certification and compliance.
• Understanding of API security standards.
• Knowledge of exploits, malware, ransomware, detection methods.
• Web application architecture and system administration knowledge.
• Experience building complex RQL, KQL, or SQL queries.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP security features.
• Programming skills in Python or PowerShell.
