An exciting opportunity has been announced to work with us on a permanent basis as our Cloud, Infrastructure & Security Lead to work on exciting Change & Transformation projects within the organisation. We are looking for a dedicated IT professional who can lend their experience to ensure we are successful in our delivery.

The successful applicant will lead on Security, Cloud and Infrastructure within the organisation and will ensure a smooth team dynamic within the business, engaging with stakeholders and being proactive in establishing our Infrastructure & Security services.

Role: Cloud, Infrastructure & Security Lead

Contract: Permanent

Location: Newcastle (2/3 days a week on site)

Salary: £51,000

Required skills for this position:

• Lead Cloud, Infrastructure & Security team on project upgrades, implementations and migrations
• Proven Cyber security experience – detection & response
• Extensive working knowledge of Azure products & services (IaaS, virtual desktop, Entra ID, virtualisation)
• Cyber security protection and networking solutions (SIEM and SDWAN)
• Ability to engage and manage stakeholders
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure technology (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, routers, switches, firewalls)
• Strong level of communication and translating technical requirements
