Job summary

TRIA in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer/Platform Engineer to drive cloud and data centre migrations with a focus on Azure, Windows Server, and IaC. You will join a modernisation programme delivering hands-on support, planning, build, testing and production cutover activities.

The role covers landing zone configuration, network and infrastructure setup, and remediation of high-priority vulnerabilities identified during pen testing, with potential extension beyond six

Qualifications

• Experience migrating datacentre workloads to Azure.
• Hands-on with Azure, Windows Server and IaC.
• Ability to plan, build, test and cutover production systems.
• Experience with vulnerability remediation following pen testing.

Responsibilities

• Support migration of datacentre-hosted workloads into Azure, including planning, build, testing and production cutover.
• Assist with landing zone, networking and infrastructure configuration.
• Support application and server migration activities.
• Engage with suppliers and perform technical validation.
• Review and remediate high-priority vulnerabilities identified in pen tests.
• Implement remediation across server and infrastructure platforms.
• Validate controls through testing and evidence collection.

Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer / Platform Engineer with a background in delivering cloud and data centre migrations, whilst securing key vulnerabilities? Are you technically strong with hands on experience of Azure, Windows Server and IaC?

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer / Platform Engineer will join a dynamic team at a time of major modernisation and transformation, with responsibility for providing hands‑on technical support to drive the cloud and data centre migration activities.

This will include:

• Supporting migration of datacentre-hosted workloads into Azure, assisting with planning, build, testing and production cutover activities
• Support landing zone, networking and infrastructure configuration
• Assist with application and server migration activities
• Support supplier engagement and technical validation activities.
• Review and remediation of high-priority vulnerabilities identified through pen testing activity
• Implement remediation activities across server and infrastructure platforms
• Validate controls through testing and evidence collection

The successful Cloud Infrastructure Engineer / Platform Engineer will have the following skills:

• Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, ARM, PowerShell automation.
• Backup and restore Solutions e.g. Veeam, CommVault.

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will initially join for a period of 6 months to actively participate in the cloud and data centre migration activity, and there is the possibility of extension.
