Role overview

This role involves designing, deploying, and automating technical infrastructure services within BDO Global IT, focusing on infrastructure as code, administration, and operations to ensure data integrity, availability, performance, security, and recoverability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage core cloud platform services on Microsoft Azure.
• Design cloud infrastructure in collaboration with architects.
• Automate infrastructure tasks and create deployment pipelines.
• Resolve escalated tickets, communicate effectively, and operate per ITSM standards.
• Ensure business continuity through backup and recovery strategies.
• Document procedures and support team objectives.
• Participate in projects to improve or retire services.

Qualifications and skills

• At least 5 years in enterprise IT infrastructure implementation and management.
• Proficiency in Azure tenant, subscription, and resource management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with internal applications and development teams preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL or similar frameworks, with 3+ years in support roles.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
