Are you a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with AWS Solution Architect Associate certification?

In this REMOTE UK role, you'll report to the SysOps & Infrastructure Manager (based in New Zealand), and you'll be responsible for building and supporting cloud-based infrastructure solutions, ensuring maintenance, development, troubleshooting, and provisioning of enterprise-level Teletrac Navman platforms.

You’ll collaborate with regional and global teams, product management, and R&D to deliver high-quality solutions, with flexible work arrangements and a comprehensive benefits package.

Your expertise in AWS Cloud, strong technical skills, and customer-centric mindset will be crucial for success.

What you’ll be doing:
  1. Implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions: Design and deploy solutions aligned with project requirements.
  2. Maintain and troubleshoot systems: Perform routine maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure uptime and SLA adherence.
  3. Support Helpdesk operations: Act as an escalation point, supporting Helpdesk and TFS tickets in a 24/7 model.
  4. Troubleshoot incidents and implement preventive measures: Identify root causes, document problems, and ensure application stability with 99.5% uptime or above.
  5. Optimize cloud infrastructure: Conduct cost analysis, manage providers, and migrate systems to the cloud as needed.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work with global teams to maximize SaaS uptime and deliver high-quality integrations.
  7. Manage infrastructure projects: Oversee project workloads, ensuring timely delivery and SLA compliance.
  8. Automate deployment and monitoring: Develop tools for automation and platform monitoring.
What we’re looking for:

Applicants must have AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification and:

  • 2+ years of experience in infrastructure and systems engineering.
  • 2+ years of service delivery experience with AWS Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Windows technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft server, IIS, clustering, and load balancing.
  • Understanding of high-scale, high-performance, security best practices.
  • Customer-centric mindset and excellent service delivery skills.
  • Problem-solving and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ownership mentality and focus on outcomes.
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux servers, Puppet, or Terraform is desirable.
  • Advanced network knowledge (DNS, routing, firewalls) is a plus.
