We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Cloud Infrastructure Architects who can help solve complex business and technical problems while guiding our Customers on their journey to the Cloud.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Pre-employment checks: If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: nationality or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
You will work as a lead Cloud Architect on complex Cloud implementations. The role will also involve delivering Cloud Migration Assessments and Oracle Cloud Solutions across various industries. You will gain exposure to wider Cloud offerings including Oracle’s IaaS and PaaS portfolios, and potentially other public or private clouds.
You will collaborate closely with our account teams during sales pursuits, leading client presentations, drafting RFP/ITT responses, estimating, and assisting during contracting.
You will manage technical and development leads while maintaining overall architecture responsibility.
As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you should have expertise in modern infrastructure such as Networking, Compute, Storage, Databases, Containerisation, Event Stream Processing, and PaaS deployment, with a focus on Oracle technologies; SME background in one of these areas is advantageous.
An understanding of modern Cloud infrastructure and development practices such as Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management tooling, DevOps practices, and CI/CD is required.
To be appointed, you must obtain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance, which requires residing in the UK for the past 10 years and meeting other detailed criteria. You may be asked about your citizenship and residence during the process.
