Job summary

GXO Logistics in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cloud FinOps Engineer to optimise cloud spend while ensuring performance and business value. You will own cloud cost management across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud and translate usage data into actionable insights.

The role requires strong FinOps delivery, dashboards, forecasting and collaboration with technology and finance teams. Occasional travel to Northampton or London is expected; standard hours Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on delivery experience in FinOps Cloud Engineering.
• Experience in cloud cost management, FinOps, technology financial management, cloud operations, data analysis or FP&A.
• Experience producing dashboards, monthly cost packs, budget variance analysis and forecasting reports.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud cost management and financial visibility across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, delivering accurate reporting, forecasting and strategic insights.
• Lead AI expenditure and usage analysis to ensure cost-effective AI services aligned to business value.
• Champion FinOps best practice through cost allocation, show back and chargeback mechanisms with stakeholders.
• Identify trends, risks and optimisation opportunities through forecasting, budgeting and anomaly detection.
