Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Cloud FinOps Engineer to optimise cloud spend across Google Cloud, AWS, Azure and AI services. You will own cloud cost management, provide forecasting and insights to drive value, and collaborate with tech and finance for governance.

This full-time role in the UK involves standard hours 09:00–17:00, with occasional travel to Northampton or London offices. You will analyse AI expenditure, model consumption, and help maximise return on cloud and AI investments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FinOps/Cloud engineering experience.
• Experience producing dashboards, cost packs, budget variance analyses and executive summaries.
• Experience in cloud cost management, FP&A and cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud cost management and financial visibility across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud with accurate reporting and forecasting.
• Lead AI expenditure and usage analysis for cost-effective model, API, token and agent consumption.
• Champion FinOps governance with cost allocation, show back and chargeback, collaborating with tech and finance stakeholders.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities to optimise cloud and AI investments.
