Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Cloud FinOps Engineer in London to govern cloud financials across Azure and AWS, enabling transparent costs and optimized usage. You will collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Platform Operations, Finance, and Procurement to maximize business value from cloud resources.

Responsibilities include building cost models, dashboards, and forecasts; driving rightsizing and savings plans; and supporting vendor negotiations with financial insights. A strong FinOps background is required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in cloud financial operations and FinOps practices.
• Experience with large scale cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Ability to build and maintain cloud cost models and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain cloud financial governance and cost allocation.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities across Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Develop dashboards and reports for stakeholders showing spend, forecast, and savings.
• Forecast budgets and monitor variance to improve financial planning.
• Analyze cloud billing data and drive recommendations to optimize cloud consumption.
• Manage reservations, savings plans, and discount programs to maximize value.
• Support vendor negotiations with financial and consumption insights.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and governance across cloud spend.
• Communicate complex financial information to technical and non-technical audiences.
