A leading IT recruitment agency is seeking an IT specialist for a role in a high-security government department in the UK. Candidates need to currently hold eDV security clearance. The role involves designing and managing cloud solutions, automating infrastructure tasks, and collaborating with various technical teams. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Working for a Global Leader in Information Technology, you will be on site for a High Security Government Department, you will have a background in IT and some knowledge of cloud technologies. The roles require the highest level of security clearance (eDV) to be currently held, so this role is ideal for members of the armed forces looking to transistion into a new environment
What the role offers:
Training in:
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions based on organisational needs
Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across cloud environments
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment
Ensure security best practices are followed (IAM, network security, encryption, etc.)
Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to support agile delivery
Maintain documentation related to infrastructure architecture, configurations, and procedures
Evaluate new cloud technologies and make recommendations for improvement
