Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer – ELK Specialist with hands-on experience in managing, optimizing, and supporting Elastic Stack (ELK – Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) environments within cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong cloud engineering expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a secure and mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain ELK stack solutions for log aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
Manage and optimize large-scale Elasticsearch clusters, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Logstash, Beats, or other tools.
Configure Kibana dashboards for monitoring, analytics, and operational insights.
Integrate ELK with cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for end-to-end observability.
Implement and enforce security and compliance standards within the ELK and cloud environments.
Troubleshoot performance issues, data ingestion errors, and cluster health problems.
Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration of monitoring and logging solutions.
Automate deployment and management of ELK components using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Provide ongoing support, patching, and upgrades for ELK components.

Required Skills & Experience

Active SC Clearance (mandatory).
6+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering / DevOps / Infrastructure roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Proven experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Proficiency with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong knowledge of monitoring, observability, and alerting tools.
Good understanding of networking, load balancing, and security concepts.
