YOUR ROLE

Our Cloud Engineering Consultants sit within Digital Excellence, part of the Business Technology practice in Capgemini Invent, leading digital transformation projects across Capgemini. We value innovation, professional development, and making a real difference for our clients. As a Cloud Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure, develop automated pipelines, implement monitoring, troubleshoot issues, ensure security, and optimize infrastructure using technologies like Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, and exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP. Your responsibilities include:

  • Implementing CI/CD automation with architects and development teams.
  • Provisioning, configuring, deploying, and monitoring infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Developing new opportunities and fostering a DevOps culture with clients and internal teams.
  • Providing operational support including monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Conducting security, performance, and availability testing.
  • Sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues, while developing your skills with new technologies.

Additionally, you will contribute to business development, internal initiatives, and learning & development activities, such as proposal writing, campaign development, training, and certifications.

YOUR PROFILE

To be considered, you must hold active SC (Security Check) Clearance or be eligible. You should also have:

  • Experience with cloud services: AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Proven DevOps experience and best practices.
  • Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Containerisation, virtualisation, orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, Cloudwatch).
  • Configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef).
  • Testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber).
  • Scripting skills (bash/shell).
  • Flexibility to support various technologies (Java, NodeJS, databases, cloud components).
  • Experience with version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
  • Experience in agile environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
