Title: Cloud Engineer (Azure)
Department: Procode IT
Location: UK based with visits to our Chandlers Ford HQ
Salary: Circa £65,133 + 15% Discretionary bonus scheme

What does this role involve?

As a Cloud Engineer, you will join our DevOps function within Procode to support our move towards a product-centric environment, as well as developing new modules and platforms across Azure and AWS.

The role will involve the architecture, build, management, and support of new cloud services, whilst migrating the traditional infrastructure that is currently in place.

You will be liaising with stakeholders, taking requirements all the way through to implementing solutions.

Who are we looking for?

Your hands-on experience of supporting the transition from a traditional infrastructure environment to the Azure cloud will be fundamental to your success in this role.

Your experience in building and deploying new cloud infrastructure services will allow you to hit the ground running in all aspects of the role.

Your customer-first approach will allow you to support both colleagues and stakeholders in providing commercially viable solutions.

Your additional experience in AWS, Google Cloud, and traditional infrastructure environments will enable you to take part in a wider range of projects.

  6. Automation of builds and deployment (Octopus Deploy or similar)
  7. Infrastructure as Code
  8. CI/CD pipelines

This role will involve on-call working on a rota basis (24/7).

To be successful in this role, you will be required to pass an enhanced security vetting process.
