Job summary

Roke is seeking a Cloud Developer / Engineer to lead a high-profile project delivering streaming analytics within a National Security domain. You’ll work on a hybrid cloud environment, combining on-premise and AWS technologies, and collaborate in a small, capable team with strong support to ramp up and grow.

The role emphasizes Go, Python and TypeScript (CDK), AWS services, and containerization with Docker.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS in a cloud-native environment.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, TypeScript (CDK), and Docker.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Familiarity with cloud services (S3, Lambda, EKS) is a plus.

We require a Cloud Developer / Engineer to take a leading role on a high profile project that is delivering the next generation of streaming analytic technology for our customer. We are a small, friendly, supportive, and highly capable team, where your contribution will be valued.

This hybrid cloud project combines on premise and AWS technologies (See below), resulting in a diverse technical landscape. While strong experience as a Cloud Developer / Engineer is ideal, we are equally keen to hear from quick learners with some relevant skills, who will receive strong support to ramp up and grow.
