Cloud Engineer - Digital Transformation Programme
About the Role
We're seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a large-scale Digital Transformation Programme, centralising IT infrastructure across 40 locations and 1,500+ users. Over the past 4 years, the programme has migrated from on-prem to cloud (e.g., Skype Teams, Exchange Exchange Online). Now, the focus shifts to consolidating multiple Microsoft tenants under a single team, including legacy systems from other companies within the group.
Another key part of the transformation being worked on is moving on prem server estate to Azure so this would be another key area where experience would be favourable.
Cyber security knowledge or experience would be a bonus, especially with tools like Sentinel One, Cisco Umbrella, Proofpoint, or even Microsoft Defender and Sentinel.
Key Responsibilities
Lead tenant-to-tenant migrations (Microsoft 365, Power Platform).
Collaborate with senior Cloud Engineers to design resilient, scalable solutions.
Implement governance frameworks for multi-tenant environments.
Support legacy system integration (e.g., on-prem to cloud migration).
Skills & Experience
5+ years in cloud engineering, with deep expertise in:
Microsoft 365 migrations (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).
Multi-tenant management (security, compliance, cost optimisation).
Power Platform setup and governance.
Proven track record in large-scale digital transformations.
Strong collaboration skills - able to work with architects and ops teams.
