Job summary

DVF Recruitment is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to support, enhance, and continually improve our Microsoft Azure cloud platform. The role emphasizes engineering, automation, security, and operational excellence across international locations.

As part of the Azure & Infrastructure Team, you will collaborate with Identity & Messaging, Security, and regional IT teams to ensure secure, resilient, cost-effective cloud services aligned with organisational standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on commercial experience in Azure administration or cloud engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and features, including Azure management, Terraform, containers, Private Endpoints, and networking.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, GitHub or similar tools for version control and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and tools such as Azure Security Center and Azure Key Vault.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support across Azure IaaS, PaaS, Terraform, containers, and management.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Automate workflows with Logic Apps, Azure Functions and other cloud-native tools.
• Monitor cloud performance and troubleshoot availability and reliability.
• Ensure security and compliance with Azure Policies and RBAC.
• Maintain Terraform scripts to support changing requirements.
• Implement Azure infrastructure in line with designs, standards and best practices.
• Participate in on-call rota for out-of-hours incidents.
