Job summary

Lloyds in Edinburgh is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help design, build and support modern pipelines across private and public cloud. You will work with Terraform/IaC, GCP, Kubernetes and Docker to automate builds, tests and deployments while embedding security into the process.

You will collaborate with software engineers, QA and product owners to improve tooling, reduce bottlenecks and accelerate software delivery in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with Terraform and IaC principles.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native services.
• Strong knowledge of Git, GitHub and source control best practices.
• Strong understanding of Helm, Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience designing, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Harness or similar tooling.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerised deployment.
• Experience with observability and SRE practices.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, policy-as-code approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support the CDCI Pipelines infrastructure and services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Harness or equivalent tooling.
• Work with cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, containers and platform services.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes to improve consistency.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and product owners to remove bottlenecks.
