Job description

CK Group are recruiting for a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry, at their site in Wrexham, on a contract basis for 12 months.

Salary: £26.52 - £35.27 per hour PAYE.

Role: Cloud Development Security & Ops Engineer

1. Support the business in managing the cloud infrastructure of Atom5 cloud software.
2. Oversee, monitor, document, and improve security practices related to Azure Cloud & network infrastructure.
3. Take initiative in automation activities of development & release processes, code & artefact management, & Continuous Integration and Deployment.
4. Support compliance & quality teams in documenting processes related to Atom5 QA, infrastructure, & security setup/practices.

Your Background

1. Understanding of the Linux user space.
2. Good knowledge of scripting using bash or Python & networking.
3. Experience with public cloud offerings from major providers (Azure experience is a plus).
4. Managing metrics, monitoring, alerting, and logging systems; e.g., Sensu, Graphite, ELK, Prometheus, CloudWatch.
