Job summary

Connells Group in Milton Keynes is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to help design, build and manage the Connells Group Data Platform, ensuring secure, scalable cloud data services and reliable operations. You will work in the Group Technology team, adopting Platform as Code, collaborating with 3rd party providers, and delivering observability, capacity planning and incident response.

The role offers a hybrid pattern with one day a week in the Milton Keynes office, opportunities to grow core

Qualifications

• Experience in similar technical roles.
• Experience in incident resolution, requests, changes and problem-solving activities delivered to SLAs.
• Experience implementing Cloud Technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience managing SQL Server.
• Strong team communication and sharing ideas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Data Platform for Connells users and manage downtime/risk.
• Root cause analysis and incident resolution.
• Occasional out-of-hours support as required for operations.
