Job summary

bet365 is seeking a Regulatory Data Developer in Manchester to shape reporting systems for regulatory data accuracy and timely submissions. You will migrate legacy SQL Server to GCP BigQuery and design cloud-native reporting systems with emphasis on performance and traceability.

You will build automated pipelines, validate data, and collaborate with senior engineers. Knowledge of BigQuery, SQL, GCP services, Terraform, and GitLab is required.

Qualifications

• Experience building near real-time and batch regulatory data reports (accuracy and traceability).
• Migration of legacy SQL Server to BigQuery and cloud-native solutions.
• Design and implement automated data pipelines with validation checks.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining regulatory data submission systems across on-prem SQL Server and GCP BigQuery.
• Building automated pipelines for ingesting, transforming and loading regulatory data.
• Supporting migration of legacy reporting solutions to BigQuery through data modelling and delivery.
• Implementing validation checks, monitoring and alerting to protect submission accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborating with senior colleagues to shape efficient cloud-native reporting solutions.
• Applying AI tooling and automation ideas to reduce manual effort and improve delivery quality.
• Conducting QA to confirm accuracy and performance.
• Producing and maintaining documentation for technical processes and solution designs.
• Participating in code reviews and following departmental development standards.
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality work within required timeframes.
