Job summary

Aberdeen Corporate Services Limited is seeking a Digital Engineer based in Edinburgh to develop, deliver and support modern digital services across our wealth platforms. You will work with front-end and back-end teams, cloud infrastructure and enterprise integrations to drive secure, scalable solutions.

You will contribute to engineering excellence, automation, testing and CI/CD, while expanding skills in cloud technologies.

Qualifications

Experience building REST APIs or back-end services, ideally using C# and .NET.
Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Git, GitHub and CI/CD automation.
Experience creating and maintaining automated tests using Playwright or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

Develop and support digital applications, APIs, services and integrations across Aberdeen’s digital estate, delivering secure and scalable solutions.
Build and support cloud-hosted applications within Microsoft Azure while maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment processes.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, UX teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences and business outcomes.
Monitor live services, investigate incidents, resolve issues and contribute to improvements that reduce recurring problems.
Produce technical documentation, participate in code reviews and help improve engineering standards, tooling and ways of working.
Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright and integrate quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.
