Job summary

Cognizant in London is seeking a Cloud Architect (DevSecOps & LLMOps) to design, build, secure, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and enterprise GenAI applications. This role collaborates with architects, developers, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure AI solutions using Bedrock and related AWS services.

The ideal candidate has strong AWS, IaC, DevSecOps, and LLMOps experience, plus excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, EFS, DynamoDB, Neptune, and Terraform.
• Strong DevSecOps experience including GitHub Actions, Ansible, Docker, CI/CD automation, security scanning, secrets management, monitoring, and production support.
• Solid understanding of LLMOps concepts: LLMs, RAG, embeddings, chunking, vector databases, semantic search, prompt engineering, and DAG/LangGraph orchestration.
• Experience with API management platforms such as API Gateway, Kong, Apigee or equivalents; designing API proxy workflows, authentication, routing and transformations.
• Datadog or equivalent monitoring for dashboards, APM, logs, and health reporting.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must currently reside in the United Kingdom and be able to start within 4 weeks.
• UK Security Check (SC) clearance or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, secure, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure and AI platforms using IaC and AWS services.
• Develop and operationalise enterprise GenAI solutions with Bedrock, LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector databases and AI observability.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, API integrations, cloud security, IAM governance, monitoring, and production BAU support.
• Configure application observability with Datadog, dashboards, APM, logs, and health reporting.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, security teams, and stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient, scalable cloud and AI solutions.
