Who We Are Looking For

Are you a motivated Cloud Architect passionate about helping companies of various sizes adopt cloud and cloud-native technologies? You'll fit right in. As part of the Consulting and Professional Services Team, you will review customers’ current infrastructure and application platform architecture and assist in migration to cloud or application platform modernization. You will use modern cloud infrastructure design patterns and introduce cloud-native development technologies and processes when appropriate. Building and maintaining relationships with customers and providing technical guidance to infrastructure architects, application developers, and operators is essential. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates in Canada.

What You Will Do
  1. Design and implement systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  2. Design Monitoring and Alerting systems using tools like Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Datadog, PagerDuty.
  3. Design CI/CD pipelines using tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitLab.
  4. Collaborate with Solution Architects during pre-sales to establish technical outcomes and effort estimates.
  5. Work with Project Managers and Solution Architects to break down requirements into User Stories and Sub-tasks.
  6. Review technical implementations to ensure quality and provide feedback.
  7. Support development and operations teams to bring projects into production across Web, App, Network, Server, Storage, and Security domains.
  8. Document architecture and solution design of cloud platforms, practices, connectivity, and deployment patterns.
  9. Develop expertise in Azure, Google, and AWS cloud platforms, Cloud-Native technologies, and DevOps tools.
  10. Deliver presentations and demonstrations focused on Cloud-Native technologies.
  11. Participate in community and market activities, including trade shows.
What You Will Need
  1. 5+ years of customer-facing experience as a Technology Consultant/Architect.
  2. 3 years of coding experience with cloud technologies in AWS and Azure, including infrastructure as code and automation.
  3. A strong background in automation and related experience.
  4. Understanding of DevOps concepts and tools like Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
  5. Experience with Unix/Linux platforms.
  6. Awareness of IT Operations trends and best practices.
  7. Solid understanding of systems monitoring, alerting, and analytics.
  8. Experience automating code deployment across multiple cloud providers and virtualization platforms.
  9. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration platforms like ECS, GKE, AKS, OpenShift.
  10. Knowledge of advanced cloud services beyond basic IaaS.
  11. Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform.
  12. Proven architecture and implementation experience building production infrastructure with code.
  13. Knowledge of ITIL and Agile development lifecycles.
  14. Understanding of networking and software-defined networking in cloud environments.
