Salary: GBP100,000 - GBP125,000 per annum

Our client is seeking a Cloud Architect to join their dynamic team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading bank, playing a pivotal role in shaping technical solutions and driving cloud engineering excellence. The role offers a hybrid working pattern, with at least two days per week at the office. The salary range is competitive, from £100,000 to £125,000, and the organization values its employees and their professional growth.

What you'll do:

• Lead, direct, and shape approaches to solving technical challenges
• Translate solution requirements into robust cloud solutions
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve cloud solutions
• Ensure good quality and engineering practices align with the company's transformation strategy
• Continuously learn about new technologies and understand how things work
• Influence positively by demonstrating the right values and behaviors

What you bring:

• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, hosting patterns, and services, especially GCP
• Understanding of microservices, containerization, cloud-native, data architectures, and event-driven design
• Knowledge of API standards, security, networking, ingress/egress patterns, and FinOps
• Experience with data technologies such as SQL/NoSQL and Big Data
• Experience with enterprise-wide cloud patterns, including networks and security
• Knowledge of ML/AI and data capabilities in GCP is highly advantageous
