The Role:

YouLend seeks a forward-thinking Cloud Application Engineer (Business Systems) to enhance efficiency, security, and intelligence across our cloud-based SaaS estate. Reporting to the Head of Internal IT, you'll integrate and optimise business-facing applications, manage identity and access via Entra ID, and deploy automation and AI tools to improve workflows.

This is a hands-on, business-enabling IT role suited for a technically skilled individual with excellent communication skills, capable of working across systems, teams, and tools to make our cloud services secure, scalable, and intelligent.

Requirements

Entra ID & SaaS Identity Integration

• Configure and maintain SSO, Conditional Access, and SCIM integrations for SaaS platforms using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Support secure identity and access management across cloud applications.

Business SaaS Automation & Integration

• Automate business and IT processes using Power Automate, Zapier, or lo-code/no-code platforms.
• Support automation of license management, access requests, and JML workflows, integrating identity and application provisioning.

AI-Driven Productivity

• Build and manage AI-powered chatbots, Copilot agents, or workflow assistants for tools like Slack, Jira, and Microsoft 365.
• Identify opportunities for AI to reduce repetitive tasks and increase efficiency.
• Lead onboarding, integration, and optimisation of SaaS platforms, ensuring compliance, governance, and adoption.

Security & Compliance

• Collaborate with Cyber Security to ensure SaaS platforms meet standards like DORA, ISO27001:2022, and internal policies.
• Maintain documentation, support audits, and work with legal, finance, and operations teams for system integration.
• Provide technical leadership on tooling, platform setup, and SaaS governance.

Essential skills include hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure services, automation tools, AI integrations, REST APIs, scripting (PowerShell, Python), and familiarity with ITSM tools. Certifications like SC-300, PL-900, AI-900, and ITIL are preferred but not mandatory.

Salary: £60-90,000 + 30% bonus (performance-based)
