Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer for Cloud + AI Infrastructure to join their sales team in the UK. This role involves driving adoption of Cisco's infrastructure solutions, partnering with customers to support their modernization goals, and demonstrating how Cisco's technologies can accelerate business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data center and cloud-native technologies, and experience in technical presales. You should be comfortable translating technical concepts for diverse audiences and may need to travel for customer meetings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical presales or solutions engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization and platform modernization.
• Familiarity with enterprise storage concepts and platforms.
• Solid understanding of data center networking fundamentals.
• Foundational understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of Cisco's data center and AI-ready solutions.
• Act as a technical advisor to customers.
• Translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Understand customer challenges and propose tailored solutions.
