Job Description
CLO Analytics, Modeller
Our Global Corporate Trust team provides trust and agency services across the spectrum of debt capital markets and loan market products, including account bank, agent bank, collateral administrator, custodian, escrow agent, facility agent, paying agent, security agent, trustee, successor trustee, and transfer agent.
We are looking to hire an experienced individual into our market-leading CLO business within CLO Analytics and the modelling team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and review financial models for CLO Transactions.
- Liaise with business partners (Technology, Legal, Compliance, Trustee, Relationship Management, Deal Admin, and Sales) to ensure high client service levels in compliance with US Bank standards.
- Understand CLO mechanics, review securitization documentation, and provide commentary prior to deal closing to ensure requirements are met and documentation aligns with US Bank practices.
- Collaborate across teams to develop solutions and build partnerships with Relationship Management and Deal Administration to improve client deliverables and processes.
- Provide innovative client solutions.
- Program and reverse engineer financial models based on securitization documents.
- Use Excel models to allocate collateral pool payments to bondholders, swap counterparties, and investment managers.
- Stress-test cash flow and collateral performance under adverse market conditions.
- Calculate portfolio statistics, ratios, and thresholds for trading scenarios and reporting.
- Utilize SQL and other software to manage collateral data in US Bank databases.
- Work closely with US teams to align modeling specifications and improve efficiencies.
