A national healthcare service in Leeds is looking for a psychiatrist to manage healthcare professionals and addictions. The role involves assessing patients, managing cases, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should have significant experience, relevant qualifications, and a strong ability to communicate sensitive information effectively. This position requires a commitment of at least 16 hours per week.
We are currently looking to expand our clinical workforce.We are seeking applications from psychiatrists with an interest in managinghealthcare professionals and/or with experience of managing addictions. We areasking for a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.
As a key member of the NHS PH team, you will provide care to PH patients,participating as a core team member carrying out triage for new contacts andreferrals, assessments of new patients, ongoing case management and liaisonwith other providers who might be involved in the care of the patients. Youwill be responsible for managing a caseload of sick health professionals,assessing risk and providing holistic support to manage their programme ofcare. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team which includes GPs, psychiatrists,specialist nurses, and therapists.

Leadership/ServiceDevelopment - roles will include ensuring dissemination of knowledge, promotingPH services and advising on practitioner health issues and may include:
Involvement with researchinto issues relating to practitioner-patients and the effectiveness of clinicalinterventions
Developing links with otherprofessional groups and support services for the effective shared care ofpractitioner patients
