Job description

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

We ensure all scientists have allocated time away from direct patient care to participate in audit and project work, with multiple projects presented at various conferences, including prize-winning papers produced by the team. We also have a daily coordinator role that everyone participates in.

Vascular scientists at King's are respected members of various MDTs within the Trust, including vascular, neurovascular, renal, and haematology teams. We encourage active participation in these groups.

The role will be mainly based at the Denmark Hill site but will require some cross-site working at Princess Royal University Hospital and other locations.

We encourage all scientists to develop their careers. Our strong history of staff development includes a senior team of six Band 8 scientists, all of whom started here as trainees or in Band 7 roles. We highly value our team.
