Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated individual to support the IPT-A Programme Lead on the CYP Psychological Trainings IPT-A PG Cert.
This role is based at the GMMH Psychological Therapies Training Centre (PTTC), known for providing high-quality training in evidence-based psychological therapies. The course offers training in the knowledge and skills needed to become an IPT-A Accredited Therapist, including delivering the IPT-A model and engaging in ongoing tutorials and broader teachings. It's an excellent opportunity to join our team and collaborate within our established psychological therapies training programmes.
Candidates should have substantial experience delivering IPT-A, with knowledge of teaching or training and some supervision experience. An interest in IPT-A research and understanding of IPT-A practice are essential. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required to participate fully in all training aspects.
The successful candidate must be registered with IPT UK as an IPT Therapist, hold a relevant undergraduate degree (or equivalent), and have experience delivering IPT-A to adolescents.
Secondment opportunities may be available with the applicant's current employer's consent.
Main duties of the job
Support the IPT-A Programme Lead in delivering, developing, and evaluating the IPT-A pathway of a high-quality Postgraduate Certificate in Evidence-Based Practice for Children & Young People (CYP) in mental health, working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) or similar settings.

Band
Shift work includes Saturday (midnight to midnight), weekdays after 8 pm, before 6 am, and all hours on Sundays and public holidays.
