Job Description:

We are delighted to be working with Animal Free Research UK to recruit their next Clinical Trustee. Animal Free Research UK advocates for a world where animals and humans lead healthy, happy lives, free from suffering. They support scientists in delivering better treatments for patients faster by promoting the transition from animal-based to human-specific medical research.

Animal Free Research UK seeks to strengthen its Board and is looking for a Clinical Trustee with a background in veterinary or medical practice to support the Board and team in achieving their charitable goals. The role involves maintaining oversight of the charity's clinical services and advising the CEO on the development of these services.

Trustees are responsible for ensuring the charity is well-managed, solvent, legally compliant, and aligned with its charitable purpose. Trustee roles are voluntary, unremunerated positions, with reasonable travel expenses covered.
