Job summary

Breckland Alliance Research, part of the NIHR-supported network, is expanding its team in the UK. We seek a full-time Research patient recruiter to identify and recruit participants for clinical trials, using SystmOne searches and rigorous pre-screening.

You will work with clinicians and the patient engagement team to inform consent, support participants, and ensure high-quality trial delivery while adhering to GCP standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with SystmOne clinical system.
• Strong data analysis and Excel skills.
• Knowledge of medications and long-term conditions.
• Excellent and empathetic communication to explain trials to patients.
• Compassionate approach valuing patients, relatives and carers.
• Experience working on clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Create thorough SystmOne searches based on study criteria.
• Identify and recruit eligible participants to studies.
• Provide information to participants to facilitate informed consent.
• Assess patient eligibility with clinicians and perform pre-screening.
• Be primary contact for participants on a clinical study.
• Identify recruitment barriers and inform PI/Research Manager with action plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of research activities in study records.
• Follow local, network and sponsor policies to ensure GCP and governance compliance.
• Maintain site and investigator files.
