Job summary

Glan Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan, NHS Wales, is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join the Clinical Trials team. You will work with senior pharmacists to support high-quality trials across oncology and haematology, ensuring safe handling of IMPs and compliant documentation.

The role offers a permanent contract, 37.5 hours per week, and a focus on developing clinical and research expertise within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• MPharm degree and GPhC registration are essential.
• Postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy is desirable.
• Experience in clinical trials and multidisciplinary teams is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist clinical trials pharmacy services across trials with IMPs.
• Review protocols, assist study set-up, dispense and monitor trial medicines.
• Provide pharmaceutical advice and ensure accurate trial documentation.
• Collaborate with clinicians and research teams to support patient care.
• Develop protocols and contribute to service development and education.
