Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking a Clinical Trials Income Administrator (Band 4) to support the Income and Costing Team within R&I. The role focuses on recovering income from trial activity, producing monthly finance summaries, and maintaining procedure notes across the trial portfolio.

Candidates should have accounting experience, VAT knowledge, and the ability to analyse data to support accurate invoicing and cost reporting for both commercial and non-commercial

Qualifications

Experience in accounting practices including reconciliations, balances and VAT handling.
Proficiency with finance systems and ledger processes.
Ability to produce and interpret financial data for trials.

Responsibilities

Assist with recovering income due to the Trust for trial activity.
Support monthly finance summaries showing activity vs income for active studies.
Maintain/update the procedure note portfolio for Income and Costing Team; develop notes in own areas.
Analyse, investigate and resolve trial income queries and discrepancies.
Lead on resolution of escalated Integra Invoice approvals within delegated limits.
Maintain an electronic filing system/audit trail, including online systems.
Assist in delivering training on invoicing process and R&I costing system.
