Salary : UoM 7 - $106,432 - $115,211 p.a. plus 17% super

As a Clinical Trials Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in our MRFF-funded, University of Melbourne endometriosis research program that is being led by investigators at The Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne.

You'll manage patient recruitment, coordinate data collection, and support a program of endometriosis clinical trials being conducted across various hospital sites in Melbourne and overseas.

This position offers you the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking women's health research while developing your skills in clinical trial management and data analysis.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Manage Patient Recruitment and Data: Review patient eligibility, support and drive recruitment, and maintain accurate patient data and consent forms.
  • Coordinate Multiple Clinical Trials: Work across various projects, liaising with study teams and ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Compliance: Manage data entry, assist with quality control, and maintain research governance standards.
  • Support Project Operations: Collaborate with the Clinical Trials Manager on policy updates and day-to-day project operations.

You may be a great fit if :

You are an experienced health professional with a strong interest in research, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage complex, multifaceted projects in a clinical setting.

You may also :

  • Possess a postgraduate qualification in Health Sciences or a related paramedical field.
  • Have extensive clinical experience and familiarity with clinical trial methodology.
  • Be proficient in REDCap and have experience with electronic medical record management systems (e.g. EPIC).
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Have the confidence to independently troubleshoot problems within the scope of your knowledge and recognise when it is appropriate to seek help.
  • Have experience coordinating multi-site longitudinal projects with large recruitment numbers.
