Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Contract Negotiator for its Clinical Functional Service Partnership (CFSP) in the UK. You will negotiate site agreements, coordinate with sponsors, legal, and study teams, and drive on‑time study start‑ups while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will work in a sponsor‑dedicated environment, gaining exposure to contract lifecycle management and global IQVIA infrastructure. A strong background in clinical research contracts and robust negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in clinical research contract management or a similar role.
• Familiarity with clinical trial processes regulatory requirements and contract lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate clinical trial contracts with research sites, ensuring agreements are completed on time and meet quality and compliance requirements.
• Manage contract changes and additional agreements while balancing business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Support contract planning and study start‑up activities for assigned sponsors, studies, and programs.
• Help develop investigator grants, site budgets, contracting plans, and proposal documents.
• Prepare and negotiate contract terms, payment schedules, and budget templates based on project and sponsor needs.
• Work closely with sponsors, stakeholders, and regional study start‑up teams to achieve project goals and timelines.
• Provide contract‑related guidance and support to study teams on operational and financial matters.
• Gather and share contract and market information to support study planning and decision‑making.
• Monitor contract activities to ensure timelines, milestones, and financial goals are met.
