Job summary

Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Trials Assistant to join the Research HUB at The Royal Bournemouth on a fixed-term contract. The role involves supporting commercial and NIHR portfolio studies, with cross-cover across RBH research areas.

Training will be provided, and the successful candidate will engage in study start-up, recruitment, data entry and close-out activities while working with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

• Excellent communication skills to provide guidance and support to patients and colleagues.
• Good time management skills with the ability to meet a deadline.

Responsibilities

• Involved in all aspects of the research process from study start-up, recruitment, delivery, data entry, to close out of a study.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, implementing studies to translate scientific discoveries into improved patient outcomes.
• Training and development will be provided; clinical skills such as venepuncture and laboratory skills would be advantageous.
