Job summary

Panthera Biopartners is seeking a Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) for our Preston site on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The CTA will support laboratory sample processing, blood collection, and data entry, liaising with labs and sponsors to ensure timely delivery in line with IATA guidelines.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in life sciences or health‑related field, possess excellent clinical skills, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Must hold a degree in life sciences or health-related field.
Excellent clinical skills and high attention to detail are essential.
Experience working in a laboratory environment is preferred.
Proactive mindset and ability to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

Process samples (blood, urine) per study protocol.
Take blood samples as required.
Liaise with external lab vendors and sponsors for safe, timely sample transfer per IATA guidelines.
Operate Fibroscanning on patients following competency frameworks.
