Wight Healthcare at Moorgreen Hospital in Southampton is inviting applications for a Band 5 Clinical Trials Assistant to join MARC. The role is based at Moorgreen Hospital and supports both commercial and non-commercial dementia trials within a multidisciplinary team.

The post is full time (1.0 WTE), fixed term for 1 year, contributing to research delivery and participant care while enabling MARC to continue high quality dementia research.

Job description

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated Band 5 Clinical Trials Assistant to join our multidisciplinary research team within the Memory Assessment and Research Centre (MARC). This Full Time (1.0 WTE), fixed term (1 year) post will be based at Moorgreen Hospital in Southampton and will involve supporting both commercial and non-commercial dementia clinical trials.

This role is central to the team enabling MARC to continue to deliver high quality, high profile research. The successful candidate will work closely with a highly experienced research team contributing to all aspects of research delivery and participant care.

We are looking for a Clinical Research Practitioner (CRP) who is;

• Compassionate, patient centred, and confident working with people with Mild Cognitive Impairment and dementia.
• Enthusiastic to learn and support clinical research.
• Organised, detail focused, and able to work autonomously within a research environment.
