We are seeking a Clinical Trials Assistant to join the NIHR Manchester Clinical Research Facility at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will support research duties across all Manchester Clinical Research Facilities, including the Oxford Road Campus, North Manchester General Hospital, and Wythenshawe Hospital.
The post holder will be responsible for administering research projects within R&I in conjunction with the R&IM / Clinical Trials Manager. Close liaison with the research team, MFT Research Office, and the Local Clinical Research Network is required.

Essential: GCSE/O level Maths and English or equivalent minimum NVQ 3 plus relevant practical experience.
Desirable: Degree in a science or health-related discipline, or another field with clinical trial experience; ECDL certification.
Essential: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet, extensive database and spreadsheet experience, office administration.
Desirable: Understanding of NHS research processes, research governance, and prior NHS work experience.
Essential: Advanced keyboard skills, good organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, team player, excellent communication, initiative, professionalism.
Desirable: Tenacity, proactive work approach, project management skills.
