This role is based in Nottingham Support Office, 5 days per week, reporting to the Commercial Development Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Working collaboratively with life sciences and other teams to deliver solutions at pace and drive better outcomes.
  • Supporting the team with administrative tasks, e.g. minutes of meetings, maintaining monthly reports to stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to the team across various development projects
  • Support in contract drafting and coordination across internal business and legal stakeholders
  • Supports team members delivering trial conduct per protocol
  • Facilitates meetings and coordinates minutes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supports internal and external audit execution
  • Assist regulatory/compliance staff in the maintenance of regulatory documents in accordance with Boots SOPs and applicable Life Sciences regulations
  • Support set up of new vendor accounts
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including third-party suppliers and partners, and internal cross-functional teams
  • Take ownership of critical path elements, holding team members accountable to ensure milestones are met
About the role

As a Healthcare Category Development Assistant, you'll be an integral part of the broader Healthcare Development & Public Affairs team.

You will be led by and work closely with the Commercial Development Team, as well as other key cross functional teams.

You'll bring your exceptional organisational skills, and keen eye for detail to the role. You'll get to work with, support, and learn from various functions across the business as well as liaising with and supporting relationships with our external suppliers.

What you'll need to have
  • Strong relationship builder who is capable managing internal teams and external partners
  • Able to manage multi-stakeholder audiences
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, third-party suppliers, and stakeholders who operate on many different levels
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, and adhere to competing project timelines and deadlines
  • Attentive in order to ensure accuracy in tracking milestones, managing administrative tasks, and reviewing project documentation
  • Committed to continuous improvement
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and manage a demanding, highly variable workload with appropriate pace whilst maintaining a consistently high quality of output
  • Excellent administrative, data management, IT (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and organisational skills
It would be great if you also have
  • A basic understanding of clinical trials
  • Experience of working on legal contracts
