A leading NHS trust seeks a Research Nurse/Clinical Trials Practitioner to manage clinical research portfolios in oncology and haematology. This role involves patient education, trial coordination, and data collection, supporting innovative therapies like Proton Beam Therapy.
The Research Nurse/Clinical Trials Practitioner is an autonomous specialist working within the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will take responsibility for the co-ordination and management of a clinical research portfolio comprising in-house, national, and international phase II and III clinical trials in oncology and haematology malignancies.

The post holder will develop specialized skills related to clinical trials, therapies, and disease sites, and will be able to advise patients on trial participation, acting as their advocate.
The role is clinically based to support research in Proton Beam Therapy and Neuro-Oncology, with cross coverage for other tumor areas.
