Job summary

Discover International, partnered with a UK-based CRO, is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to lead the operational delivery of Phase I–IV trials for pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors. You will manage cross-functional teams and timelines from start-up to close-out.

Key responsibilities include end-to-end trial management, line management of CRAs/CRCs, sponsor communications, budget oversight, and ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP and UK/EU regulations. Oncology/rare disease exposure is welcomed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in clinical trial management within a CRO, pharma, or biotech setting.
• Line management/mentoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and UK/EU trial regulations.
• Experience in oncology, rare disease, or cardiovascular trials.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end trial management for assigned studies, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to quality standards
• Line-manage CRAs/CRCs, overseeing site monitoring plans and performance
• Serve as primary point of contact for sponsors, providing status updates and risk escalation
• Develop and manage study budgets, timelines, and vendor/CRO oversight plans
• Ensure inspection readiness and compliance with ICH-GCP, MHRA, and sponsor SOPs
• Lead site selection, feasibility assessments, and study start-up activities
• Chair internal and sponsor study team meetings
