An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our administration team at the Wood Green Community Diagnostic Centre. This is your chance to be part of something transformative and innovative, positively impacting patient pathways.

The post holder will manage patient pathways, liaise with patients, gather feedback, and perform general administrative duties.

We seek a candidate with a positive, 'can do' attitude, willing to collaborate across teams, reflecting the NHS values in our service to patients.

Please note: this role is rotational across our Hornsey Central, Whittington, and Wood Green sites.

Main duties of the job
  1. Maintain modality diaries, coordinate service requirements, and support administrative functions for both admin, clerical, and clinical teams.
  2. Serve as a point of contact for patient feedback and communicate key themes to management. Attend focus groups and liaise with referrers to promote CDC services.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
  • Act as a contact point for patients and their representatives contacting imaging, phlebotomy, and ophthalmology services.
  • Monitor the electronic appointment list, ensure timely scheduling, and maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
  • Work closely with the service lead to ensure smooth operations and implement improvements as needed.

Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience in a busy office environment, handling appointments, problem-solving, and engaging with the public.
  • Experience working in a hospital setting is desirable.
Knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Calm and confident in handling situations.
  • Proficient with Electronic Patient Records (EPR) or similar systems.
  • Ability to supervise others.
