We are looking for a confident Clinical Team Leader (CTL) who can inspire, support, and oversee the delivery of high-quality care.

You'll be working 42 hours a week at Cygnet Newham House. This facility provides neuropsychiatric care and treatment for women affected by acquired brain injuries (ABI), offering rehabilitation and support for those with progressive neurological diseases like Huntington's Disease.

The hospital is a modern, purpose-built facility designed to provide a clinically-led, evidence-based neuropsychiatric pathway for individuals presenting with challenging behaviors due to ABI. Our focus is to create a therapeutic environment that engages women in our care and maximizes their independence.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Leading regular care audits
  • Providing clinical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to develop services
  • Maintaining excellence through practice development and quality improvement
  • Implementing support programs aligned with the annual Quality and Compliance plan
  • Participating in clinical committees relevant to the role
  • Attending training and engaging in CPD to enhance knowledge and promote nursing standards
  • Ensuring individual care plans are complete and maintained according to NMC guidelines
  • Administering medicines following healthcare procedures and guidelines

About you...

An experienced RMN or RNLD with a current Pin Number, you'll have:

  • Ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits, and demonstrate integrity
  • Good understanding of current nursing practices
  • Commitment to patient recovery, risk management, and safety
  • Compassion, resilience, and dedication to empowering service users

Desirable:

  • Ability to deputize in a managerial role
  • Interest in leadership, research, and assessment
