Responsibilities:
  • The post holder will work as a Clinical Team Leader (Occupational Therapist/ Social Worker/ Registered Mental Health Nurse) in the Kensington, Chelsea, and Westminster Forensic Community Team providing brief clinical and social care intervention for service users.
  • To triage referrals and co-ordinate duty assessments.
  • Be responsible for the supervision of staff and their case load.
  • Facilitate appropriate clinical practice of the team including CPN’s, OT’s, Administrative staff, and AMHPS.
  • Draw up the monthly rotas
  • Develop and maintain close professional relationships with GPs Community Mental Health Hubs, Specialist Community Forensic Services, and other professionals.
  • Ensure staff practice in a safe, appropriate, and professional way with service users and their carers.
  • Attend professional practice forums
  • Organise and investigate Safeguarding alerts in line with local Safeguarding policies.
  • Chair clinical and team meetings as appropriate.
  • Provide senior support to the Team Manager
  • To assist the team to be compliant with KPI and monitor electronic data.
  • To take a lead role in Dual Diagnosis within the Team.
