Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a registered nurse (RMN) to provide clinical leadership and oversee nursing teams. The role ensures high-quality, person-centred care, guiding staff to achieve planned outcomes and safe discharge decisions.

You will take charge of the clinical area, lead on communications with families, and maintain a flexible schedule to support a 24-hour service, all while upholding the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.

Qualifications

• NMC Pin registration (RMN) is required.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to nursing team and ensure delivery of high quality individualised person-centred standards of care.
• Supervise and develop staff to maintain service standards.
• Act as lead nurse in assessment, care planning, implementation and discharge.
• Take charge of the clinical area and oversee daily operations.
• Lead on communication with patients’ relatives, families and carers.
• Adopt a flexible approach to hours of duty to cover a 24-hour service.

• Ensure the effective supervision and development of staff
• To work and act as a key member of the team, supporting each patient with achieving their planned outcomes
• To act as the lead nurse in the assessment, implementation of care through to point of discharge
• To take charge of clinical area
• To take a lead on developing and maintaining communication with patients relatives, families and carers
• To adopt a flexible approach to hours of duty, in order to meet the needs of the service over a 24 hour period.
• To work according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct

What you’ll have:

• A current NMC Pin registration (RMN)
